Social-educational residential communities in Stiefern

A MATTER CLOSE TO COPS' HEARTS AT CHRISTMAS

As they have done every December since 2013, the staff at COPS Vienna give presents to the children and young people in the Stiefern socio-educational residential communities who unfortunately do not have the opportunity to spend Christmas with a family.

"The joy is always particularly great when the wish lists are written," reports Thomas Rotter. "It's wonderful to see how seamlessly this runs every year with the staff at COPS and how all the wishes can be fulfilled." You can find out more about the background to this long-standing relationship and more information about the tasks at the SPWG in the interview with Thomas Rotter.

This year, Stefan Cordts delivered the gifts on behalf of all colleagues who took part in the campaign. From a "Peter Parker mask" to play dolls and a set of ring wrenches, there were over 20 wishes, all of which were fulfilled again this year.

After a very impressive presentation of the tasks of the SPWG, a tour of the outdoor facilities and the handover of the gifts to Mr. Rotter, we went back, not without the promise to do everything in the coming year in the run-up to Christmas to give the children and young people some joy with the gifts from the staff. On behalf of all the recipients of the gifts, Mr. Rotter thanked the gift-givers and, in particular, Alexandra Olbort, who takes on the internal coordination every year and, as a fairy godmother at COPS, also ensures that one or two gifts are lovingly wrapped.

In Stiefern, the fulfillment of Christmas wishes is firmly assigned, but if you have acquired a taste for it: Donations are always welcome and, as Stefan Cordts was able to see for himself, are invested very wisely.
